When you arrive for the temperament test we will ask for verification that your dog is up to date on his/her vaccines. A print out from your Veterinarian is our preferred confirmation method. No dogs will be permitted into daycare or boarding until vaccination records are verified. Required vaccinations include: Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Canine Influenza vaccines and Leptospirosis. An intestinal parasite test must be provided every six (6) months. All dogs must be flea and tick free and in good health. Ask your Vet to email us your dog’s records at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order to host daycare in a cage free environment we require that all new customers come in for the temperament test prior to daycare and boarding. All dogs must pass a temperament evaluation which are offered during business hours and by appointment only. It is required that your dog has passed the temperament test prior to overnight boarding. Temperament tests are not required for grooming appointments.
The evaluation process takes 2 hours and we offer testing Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 2:00PM – 4:00PM. The second visit for daycare services is offered at a discounted rate of $25.00 and can be booked during regular daycare hours Monday through Saturday. Management reserves the right to require a full day of daycare prior to booking a boarding stay. This is for the benefit of your dog to get better acclimated to the environment.
Please bring enough food for your dog’s stay (and maybe a couple of extra in case their stay is unexpectedly extended). We kindly request that each meal is pre-measured and placed in zip lock baggies. If a dog does not have meals prepared then we will provide each meal from one of our top quality food lines at an additional $4 per serving.
Any medications must come with written instructions and in a secure package (zip lock, tupperware, bag etc.)
Check out our Grooming Services to add on to your pups stay!
